hi, i just got a tv a sharp aquos for over 1300, and a samsung home theater for 400. I bought hte hdmi cable but it only goes up to 480p. now, the specifications on the tv is 1080 and the dvd system is 1080 as well. i bought a very cheap hdmi cable for 15 dollars online. should i buy a more expensive one? or am i doing soemthign wrong?

How does one power on the Sennheiser RS110 wireless headphones and have them work the first time around?
I have to go the a rather painful 5-10 minute (sometimes more) trial and error process of powering down my TV and/or headphones several times in order for the audio to come in properly. What is the correct sequence? Headphones on first then television? Hoping someone has some insight. And yes I have connected the RCA audio output to the base.
It’s very hit and miss it seems and doesn’t seem to be a very common problem. Perhaps I have a defective pair?

I have a Samsung LCD TV (32 in. series 3). I’m having problems when playing PS2 games when it is connected to the TV using the component cable. The TV goes black then returns to normal (blinks) while playing. This is especially true if the game is a car race where everytime the car crashes, the TV “blinks”. However, when the using the composite (red, white and yellow cable), this problem does not occur or is minimized.
Help please.

it looks ok on my 360 in hd but can still notice it a little and satillite not hd.

When I turn on the TV the image is displayed. After a few seconds, the screen goes black, however the sound still works (I am still getting a signal from my cable or DVD player).
Any suggestions?

I have a 32 inch Sharp LCD TV. I just bought this and plugged it in and in the top right corner the audio will switch from mono to stereo and vice versa and it keeps a blue display in the right corner flickering every time this happens. I am plugged in directly from the wall(coaxial) and while this doesn’t happen on all channels, it happens on about 90%. Below is a link to the exact TV I bought, although it was not purchased from Best Buy. How can I get this display to stop appearing so I can watch TV and not get dizzy. The picture with the HDMI cable for my video games on PS3 Is amazing, but whenever i watch regular cable, it seems kind of out of focus. I messed with the picture settings, but i was wondering if i need to buy anything for a better picture. I replaced a 480p tv with this full 1080p and quite honestly, the picture for regular television is better on the 480. Please help, and thank you!
