My LCD HDTV sometimes turns a static green that seems like the reception is messed up but the connection is correctly in place.
No matter what channel, if theirs black or green, it then turns into the static green.

IF you change the channel, and go back….does it disappear?
If so it’s just the Digital Datastream got a hiccup in it and it needed cleared out…..Changing channels just dumps the bad data and replaces it with good data….
Other than that, if it’s CONSTANTLY noisy blacks or greens, then it should be checked by a technician…
But I ALWAYS suggest the TV and any box….Cable or Satellite be UNPLUGGED from the power for a minimum of 5 minutes to RESET all microprocessors involved with video processing…..
It’s a MUST to do that…..
