I bought a 40″ LCD Samsung TV a year ago, it is a 1080 with the 120 refresh rate.
My problem, when I have my PS3 hooked up with a high end HDMI cord, I am getting white lines across my screen, sometime only on one half, and other times across the whole screen. When I move the HDMI cord around, the lines most of the time go away but come back quickly. I also tried the back and side port on my TV for HDMI inputs to test the connection and it had lines on both inputs. I then thought it was the cord so I hooked up the same system on my roommates LCD TV and there are no lines. So after that I thought it was my TV again, but when using my Wii, I get no lines. I am really confused on what is causing this problem.
My warranty on the TV has expired, of course only 2 weeks ago. Go figure.
Any suggestions???

It does a number of things: (a)enhances the dark areas of the screen, (b) improves the response times because game needs faster screen speeds they use a 8ms refresh time, (c) improves the sound and the sharpness. have a look at the Samsung website and they will explain game mode better than me. Hope this helps.

Hello Yahoo Answerers,
I would like to get a LCD Monitor that doubles as a TV…or a LCD TV that doubles as a monitor. I’ve decided that I definitely want a Samsung 22″ Widescreen LCD…TV or Monitor, but I’m unsure if the benefits of a Samsung “TV” really outweigh the cheaper price of a Samsung “monitor.”
Which do you think I should go for? A TV with a PC input or a Monitor with a TV input?
And is it really worth a few hundred dollars more to get the TV for the remote and built in speakers?
Can anyone share their experience with this?
Thanks in advance!

Hello,
I have a Samsung LN46A850 series LCD TV, which I have owned for a good 2 months now. The only problem I have encountered is, some of the channels do not have any sound. This is a few percentile (About 95% do have sound), but I would still like to correct this regardless. I have cable, not satellite.
Thank you for your help
Matt
